June was a classic English rose, loving and kind person, who enjoyed her sons, grandchildren, great-grandchild, family and friends, always putting others first.. She loved family gatherings, cooking & eating good food, a classic Victoria sponge. Correct English language, a high sense of propriety. Challenging crosswords.

Nigel and I decided that it was most fitting to request rather than flowers a donation be made to the June Rose Smith fund for the NSPCC where mum had been an active committee member and chair of the NSPCC Maidenhead branch for many years in her earlier days.
